NMYCA ORIENTATION
Attending an orientation is an important step in the NMYCA application process—and it’s open to everyone! Whether you’ve already applied or you’re just curious about the program, orientations are the best way to learn what NMYCA is all about.
We offer sessions both in-person across New Mexico and virtually through Microsoft Teams, making it easy to attend no matter where you are. Just click the link below and join us on any device.
If you’ve submitted an application, don’t forget that attending an orientation is required to receive credit for this step.

HOW TO JOIN AN NMYCA ORIENTATION

To join an upcoming Virtual Orientation, simply find the date you wish to attend and click the event in the Calendar to see a pop up window.

On the pop up window, click the Teams Meeting link.

You may also use the “Join Orientation” button to the right, to join a meeting about to start or currently in progress.

All virtual sessions use the same Microsoft Teams link—so you can use it for any date you choose to attend.

If you RSVP, you’ll receive a confirmation email that includes the meeting link and helpful details.

You can join the orientation directly in your web browser or download the free Microsoft Teams app to your device for the best experience.

When you click the Teams link to join the Orientation, a pop-up window will appear—similar to the image shown on the right.

Simply enter your name and click “Join now.”

You’ll be placed in a virtual waiting room, and the meeting Host will let you in shortly.

That’s it—you’re in!
